"Take me away from here"
She whispered in his chest
A broken heart inside
From when she knew him best
"It's not the end," he said
"Only whispers in the dark."
And they stood silently

Chorus:
She sighed and said "We can't do this alone
For we are drowning here in this home, in this home
Let's run away before our consciences get the best of us."

Verse 2:

He looked down at the stone
A stone of memories
From a man that he had known
He only heard the wind
As it wistfully replied
And he fell to his knees
